At 6th Jan, 2023, Viz media, Uploaded Trailer of Zom 100: Bucket list of the dead, a comedy anime series, launching This July 2023, following a development and production deal between the U.S.’s Viz Media and Japan’s Shogakukan and Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions. 

About & Story

Zom 100: Bucket list of the dead, Written by Haro aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. The manga is series is on the run since Oct 2018. A Salaryman is focused in this story, where he finds himself in ravages of zombie apocalypse. He tries to complete all 100 items on his bucket list before he becomes zombie. 

Netflix announced a live action film Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, on June 7, 2022. The film is set to premiere in 2023.

This series was also nominated for the Eisner Award in the Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Asia and Best Humor Publication categories in 2022.

The series is adapted by Aso Haro and Takata Kotaro. Aso Haro is one of the top manga creators who created Alice in the borderland which is a sci-fi-fantasy survival game manga which was adapted into a live action series by Netflix with second season still being aired. 

Bug-Flims is handling the animation production of  Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead as the credit going to Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co. 

The director of the series Kawagoe Kazuki with Ueda Hanako as assistant director. Umeda Shuichiro is being the voice of our protagonist Akira Tendo

The first time I read ‘Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead’ I was struck by the way Akira puts his whole heart into everything he does. He really kept me turning the page. Akira battles his way through all these zombies, but you also get to see him get real with himself, all the while managing to make his dreams a reality. I want to do the same. As his voice actor, I want to really understand Akira and challenge myself in every way.
